Two teenagers have been shot Wednesday night time at Catawba Faculty in Salisbury throughout a highschool basketball event recreation, police say.

The capturing passed off, police say, after a combat broke out within the foyer.

Salisbury Police Chief Jerry Stokes mentioned in a late-night briefing that one sufferer was hospitalized in Salisbury, whereas one other was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

The situation of the victims was not identified late Wednesday night time.

The capturing occurred at halftime of the North Rowan-West Rowan boys’ basketball recreation.

It was the final of seven boys’ and women’ video games performed at Catawba’s Goodman Gymnasium, within the semifinals of the annual Sam Moir Vacation Traditional.
